Entry: My current struggle Wednesday, September 27, 2006

for the past few weeks, i have been lamenting abt something:
it's so hard to worship God thru my studies.
argh.
n i have been crying out to God helplessly (see my previous post).

today, the Holy Spirit led me to discover something thru Isaiah:

Don't think that the Lord is too weak or too deaf to hear your call for help!
It is because of your sins that He doesn't hear you.
It is your sins that separate you from God when you try to worship Him.

 - Isaiah 59:1, 2

wat if i can't make it to JC2? the consequences are dire. i can't afford that. i will go mad. i really will. i'm already starting to.

my sins ...

Hi bro,

Noticed you mentioned that it's hard to worship God in your studies and that somehow it may be because of your sins that God doesn't seem to here you.

Well, for the first point, I think everyone finds it hard. I myself struggle to pls God with my daily activities and studies altho that's wat he wants us to do. Don't fret! He's pleased that you're trying! And to worship God in our studies (or other areas of life) requires much practice... jus like becoming good in basket ball : )

As for the part about sins...Jus wanna encourage you with this verse "for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you." (Ps 9:10) Well, are you seeking God? If you are or are trying to, then he's pleased with you. And he WILL NOT FORSAKE YOU. God may seem to be far away, but he's listening. Of course unconfessed sin will be a barrier between us and God. But if you have confessed, and continue to confess everyday, then YOU ARE 100% FORGIVEN : ) Don't underestimate his GRACE bro. Take this advice from a fellow sinner
