hi earthlings, i hereby announce tt i'm getting baptised next Saturday on the 9th of September. it's at the St. Andrew's Secondary School swimming pool just beside Church Of the Ascension. 13 Francis Drive, Singapore 359339
right now i'm choosing my baptism name. Nigel Teh was suggesting Glen Nigel Liang n Glen Sebastian Liang. lol. anyway below is a list of names in which i've taken an interest:
| Abraham.-Hebrew. |
"father of a multitude." Serious-minded, pessimistic, affectionate. Has simple tastes, fond of the open air. Better as a companion than a husband. |
| Arthur.-Celtic. |
"high." Vivacious, industrious, self-opinionated, literary. Seldom takes advice, but profits by his own mistakes. |
| Barnabas.-Hebrew. |
"son of consolation." Another form is Hornsby. Honest, genial, lazy. Very gullible and easily influenced by companions. Shy in the company of women. |
| Ephraim.-Hebrew. |
"two-fold increase." Versatile, cheerful, self-reliant. Often makes a name for himself in the literary world or in politics. Can love passionately. |
| Owen.-Celtic. |
"lamb" or "young warrior." Fearless, faithful, imaginative. Has many friends. |
| Peter.-Greek. |
"stone." Open, firm, unaffected. Always respected and loved. Marries while young and is devoted to his wife. |
| Robert.-Teutonic. |
"bright fame." Other forms are Robin, Rupert. Loquacious, successful, susceptible. Often becomes a brilliant speaker. Patience is not his strong point. |
| Samuel.-Hebrew. |
"asked of God." Friendly, understanding, unselfish. Is full of original ideas which bring him success. | taken frm http://www.vangelis.com.au/names.asp the meanings have some superstition in them but i find them cool so just wanna check it out. those underlined are wat i hope would describe me while those in bold are wat i think describes me now. i wonder how my baptism name wud appear on my baptism certificate. haha
