Photos of my O-Level mates suddenly had an urge to take photos of my classmates.
so i brought my cam to school today.
i started to ask ppl to help take pics of my classmates n me.
they all tot tt i was going to leave them tmr.

Life is so unpredictable n fragile.

Another day created just to thank God 1 Thessalonians 5:18:
"In everything give thanks:

got a few things to thk God for.
1stly, my sis came back frm her Outdoor Adventure Camp!
she's sleeping on the sofa right now, totally undisturbed by my noisy typing.
i kinda missed her for the past 5 days, really!
missed her presence.
missed her laughs.
missed her voice.
missed her farts.
haha no la she doesn't fart very often.
i fart more thn her i think.
:P
2ndly, my school did ok for O's so got "half-day" on friday.
although we might get released frm sch only abt 2 hrs earlier, i'm still thkful.
3rdly, i got A1 for my Chinese O Level Exam.
for those who dunno, i took the exam last yr when i was in sec 3.
when i first took the exam 2 yrs ago, when i was in my first sec 3 yr, i got A2.
the result slip i got was B3 but it turned out to be A2 on my cert.
so what i pray now is tt there won't be any mistake this time.
i pray tt the A1 i see now on my slip is for real.
other thn tt, i thk God i don't have to be forced to drop Higher Chinese Language (HCL).
i'm not good at HCL but i don't wish to drop it either.
cos i don't wanna take Chinese in JC, although i like the language.
1:55pm
we were all in the hall.
the sec 4 graduates n those current sec 4s waiting for our Chinese results.
if i don't rem wrongly, our top student got 10 A1s.
then got other 9 students got 9 A1s.
i was motivated there n then.
2:30pm
i smsed all the O Level graduates on my mobile phone list.
many of them got very good grades!
i was further motivated.
i tell myself:
i really gotta sacrifice alot of things in order to achieve 8 pts to get into SAJC.
i gotta start by sacrificing little things like cell meetings, service, etc.
then slowly i might oso have to forgo Teens' Time.
the hardest thing to forgo will be camps n retreats, but i will try.
people, i'm going for a higher level of honour.
i don't want to glorify God by only being faithful every week.
i want to bring the highest glory of my academic results to God.
tt will be my greatest driving force to study hard at this point of my life.
pls understand.
not only am i responsible for my life, but doing my best at this moment puts me in the best place in the next moment.
MAY THIS DAY CHANGE ME FOR THE REST OF THIS YEAR...

This time COA kids have improved cool.
played drums for Junior Sunday School's worship.
was informed quite late by Kimberly last night.
but was willing to try.
very excited; almost cudn't sleep last night.
i even dreamt tt i was playing.
was late; drumset was already set up when i reached. :P
i tot Kim was leading; Winston turned out to be the one instead.
he cracked alot of jokes which captured the kids' attention.
Nigel was on the bass, Tracy on the guitar n Jasmine on the keyboard.
Lynette n Agnes helped to do some actions.
during practice we met some probs.
some chords were believed to be wrong.
Winston had difficulty singing along w/ the weird chords.
so we replaced "Amen, Praise The Lord" w/ "King Of Majesty" (KOM).
it was a challenge for me drumming KOM; but i enjoyed it.
thk God all went well aft the adjustments.
10:10am.
we started late due to addition of KOM lyrics.
"Give Thanks" was the first song i think.
then when it came to KOM, i was surprised i was able to play accordingly.
the chorus came.
Lynette n Agnes started jumping like wat we did for Teens' Time.
at the corner of my eye, i noticed Alyssa n a few other girls jumping.
woh!
i was so encouraged.
praise God for tt!
God answered my prayers.
firstly, i managed to play the drums properly.
i think i played better thn during Teens' Time.
hopefully the next time i play for Teens' Time, i won't screw up like the previous time.
i guess it's just a different experience each time i play the drums, no matter where.
secondly, the kids' response was better.
the worship session just left me a better impression of this week.
before i forget...

he looks so much younger aft he dyed his hair!

What's the difference between COA kids n CCOF Kids? today didn't go up for the adult praise n worship.
helped out in KFC (Kids For Christ) worship.
was forced by Lynette to do actions for "We Want To See Jesus Lifted Up" w/ Nigel.
it was really silly, esp w/ all the kids just standing there MOTIONLESS.
the whole session was really very very discouraging, at least in my eyes.
i don't mind making a fool of myself in front of those kids.
in fact i was enjoying it.
so Lynette, thks for asking me to help out.
i was doing it for God anyway.
BUT, the response was way too lousy.
i was left pondering upon a question:
what's the difference between these S'porean kids n those kids in CCOF?
Care Corner Orphanage Foundation was one of the places we visited in Thailand during the mission trip last yr.
the kids there r really aft God's heart.
i cud see tt u noe, frm the way they worship God.
they r the perfect example for us, for me!
i can say tt every child in CCOF has his/her individual need(s).
they lack parental love, material wants, etc.
yet they worship God w/ all they have, w/ all their heart n soul.
God gave me the rare opportunity to witness a scene tt touched me.
i cud see these young children of God, singing their hearts out to their Heavenly Father.
i wasn't standing w/ the other team-mates behind the children.
i was playing drums for the worship session led by Dennis.
so i cud see w/ my own eyes the zeal n longing tt were written on their expressions.
i was totally lost, in their child-like faith.
i'm still stuck w/ the question.
r they really Kids For Christ?
wat more can a S'porean child, w/ parents, w/ almost everything they want, ask for?
don't they need God anymore?
i came up w/ an excuse tt they r only young children aged 7 to 12.
how can they possibly know who's God in their lives?
but i was soon countered by the scene in CCOF.
wat abt the children there?
some of them r even younger than our S'porean kids!
when i was their age, i oso faced the same thing.
i did not noe God personally.
i only noticed God's presence in my life very recently.
maybe the children here have almost whatever they want.
so God is out of the picture bcos there's no need for Him in their lives.
they will only need God when they grow older, like my age.
our parents do not spoil us as much as before anymore.
thus we face more struggles n we need God now.
i just pray tt we in S'pore will strive harder to worship God w/ all our heart n oso w/ all our strength(voice), regardless of our age.
looking for a way to light a fire in us...

hmmm.
i'm feeling really bored at home.
though my relatives r at my place right now, the atmosphere ain't as fun as previous yrs'.
probably it's bcos of the absence of my grandparents.
anyway so i'm here blogging again.
i've just tot of wat i'm aiming to achieve this yr.
they r mainly to build up my character.
i hope to be:
selfless,
humble and
loving.
it's really hard but i shall just keep working at these.
friends, rebuke me n remind me whenever u need to ok?
